Les arômes diffèrent légèrement entre en bâton et une fois moulue. Le côté végétal, presque boisé, est présent sous la forme bâton. Il devient notablement plus piquant une fois moulu, surtout en bouche sans rien de la sucrosité (...hélas trop souvent associée aux autres cannelles NON-véritables). Arômes légers de torréfaction aussi.
